about

This EP is the debut of the project called SPLINTERED.

At The Break of Dawn is the very first song I wrote for SPLINTERED, effectively finishing it within a few days. It signifies my start with SPLINTERED and I think it is a perfect representation of all the parts that SPLINTERED songs encompasses.

Swimming With Whales is a song that in my eyes (and ears), pretty much tells the story of someone stepping their toes in to the wide world of music and creation for the first time - taking a plunge in to the waters with the whales who have existed for so long in this beautiful ocean.

It's scary at first, but after a while the beauty of it all overwhelms and guides you.

The third track is The Throne is High, which I wrote as an interpretation of the steep climb that is sometimes required to improving yourself and ultimately making yourself known to the world.

If you choose to buy this, I am forever grateful - this is my first official release of any music since I started dipping my toes in to this fantastic world.

There is a play-through video available here of At The Break Of Dawn, edited by Emory Ramsay
